Kevin Hart’s personal assistant is probably wishing he hadn’t did what he did and now he’s gonna do time for it. According to the DA ‘s office in Long Island City, Dylan Jason Syer is facing up to 25 years in prison after stealing $1.1m from Hart ‘s credit cards. Syer was acting as Kevin ‘s personal shopper (which is common for celebrities) but in turn had used Kevin ‘s cards on himself.
USA TODAY reports that Syer allegedly bought a wide variety of things including Louis Vuitton bags; fine art, including a Sam Friedman painting; and more than 20 collectible dolls.
Syer 10 counts including grand larceny, criminal possession, identity theft and scheme to defraud, after authorities found $250,000 worth of cash and goods in his home, per Variety.
