Wendy Williams is headed home for an extended period of time. According to reports, the iconic television host is “headed home to rehabilitate and relax from complications due to her Graves disease”. The longtime television host has long been public about her battle with the disease, some of which, has nearly brought an end to the Wendy Williams Show for some time.
“Over the past few days, Wendy has experienced complications regarding her Graves’ disease that will require treatment,” the statement said. “Wendy will be under the strict supervision of her physicians, and as part of her care, there will be significant time spent in the hospital.”
Williams was very openly diagnosed with Graves disease last year. The diagnosis came after she passed out on live television, a feat, that the internet wasted no time in making fun of… but shouldn’t have.
