Emmy Awards delayed indefinitely as SAG-AFTRA strikes keep Tinsel Town at a standstill

The latest casualty in studio efforts to literally not pay Hollywood has been revealed. According to the TV Academy, the Emmy Awards have been indefinitely delayed amid the ongoing Tinsel Town strikes.

On Friday, the TV Academy responsible for the Emmy Awards has announced that the show has been postponed. The last time the show was postponed was back in 2001 shortly after the 9/11 attacks in New York City. The academy cited the ongoing strikes as reasons for the postponement though it is not clear when the show will actually return. As of Friday, the strikes appear to have no end in sight as studios seem set on refusals to meet fair pay demands.
