Phony heiress Anna Sorokin aka Delvey is back in the headlines. According to reports, Sorokin was released from ICE prison over the weekend after serving part of her sentence pending deportation while in custody. Sorokin will now be able to fight her deportation free from physical custody.
The Guardian reports that Sorokin will have to spend her days for the foreseeable future at home. Terms of her release include $10,000 bond; she must stay round the clock at an assigned Manhattan residence, and likely will be asked to wear an ankle monitor. Sorokin is a rare example of a would-be fall from grace had any of her story actually been true.
