In what may have been one of the craziest things to ever emerge out of Florida may not happen after all. According to DeSantis (at least what he says) Florida taxpayers will not be on the hook for Trump’s mounting legal bills following an attempt in the state to make it legal to do just that.

The bizarre attempt came from a number of Republicans in the state who, for whatever reason drew up a bill in an effort to make such a move legal — though it was never legal to begin with nor was it constitutional.
