In New York one way or another if you commit a serious crime like this guy — New York is going to get you. According to reports, the infamous New Yorker Kevin Monahan who shot dead a young woman who sat passenger in a car that accidentally pulled into his driveway — has now learned his fate.
The Lowdown
According to the case, Monahan who shot the woman in rural New York last year was found guilty this week on murder charges. The young woman Kaylin Gillis died hours after the 15 April 2023 shooting setting off widespread criticism across the state. Prosecutors according to CNN will seek 25 years to life when is formally sentenced on 1 March 2024.
What happened?
On 15 April 2023 Ms Gillis was riding passenger with a friend in Washington County New York attempting to locate the home of a friend. However, on accident the duo pulled into the home of Monahan via his driveway on accident where Monahan later opened fire on the passenger side of the vehicle. The gunshots from Monahan’s happen struck Gillis.
