Rishi Sunak is set to make history as the upcoming Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Sunak, 42, is poised to become the first person of colour to ever hold the post of Prime Minister. It is also fitting because it happens to be Diwali and he happens to be of Indian descent. Sunak managed to garner the needed support of party members over the weekend after his biggest would-be challenger Boris Johnson confirmed he was in fact dropping out of the race entirely, though had never actually said he was in it, to begin with.
