Emmy-winning actor Ron Cephas Jones dead at 66

‘This is Us’ star, 66, reportedly passed away on Saturday after a long battle with a pulmonary issue according to reports.

According to Entertainment Weekly, TV star Ron Cephas Jones perhaps most recently known for his stint on the NBC family drama ‘This is Us’ died this weekend after a long battle with a pulmonary illness. His death was confirmed to the TV magazine in a statement.

“Throughout the course of his career, his warmth, beauty, generosity, kindness, and heart were felt by anyone who had the good fortune of knowing him,” his representative said in a statement to EW. “He began his career at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, and his love for the stage was present throughout his entire career, including his recent Tony-nominated and Drama Desk Award–winning performance for his role in Clyde’s on Broadway.”
