A group of sleeper agents spying for Russia have been arrested and charged in the UK

3 Bulgarian nationals are now suspected of having attempted to spy for Russia in parts of the United Kingdom. First arrested back in February, the rogue group of alleged spies that were part of a vast Russian-led underground ‘sleeper cell’ of agents.

The trio allegedly had a number of fake documents; records, and other information that they all knew were forged. The case in a rather fascinating matter was first laid bare by the BBC. The group is understood to have been operating underground at the time. All 3 are accused of being sleeper agents for Russia ‘s security service according to the same report.

Reports suggest that the trio had lived in the UK for years having worked various jobs and held various residences throughout parts of the country.
