NPR has ditched Twitter after government media label goes wrong

NPR is kissing Twitter good bye. According to the news organization, tweeting will cease to exist this month following Elon Musk’s incorrect label on its account. Musk first attempted to add a state affiliated label to the account but then backtracked and added a government funded label instead.

NPR isn’t having it.

Per the New York Times.”We are not putting our journalism on platforms that have demonstrated an interest in undermining our credibility and the public’s understanding of our editorial independence,” says rep Isabel Lara.
