Popular U.S show Brooklyn Nine-Nine is reportedly ending with its 8th and final season. According to Entertainment Weekly, the show has confirmed that the 8th season will be its last but it will not premiere until the 2021-2022 season.
Production on the final season is expected to resume in the coming weeks as it had been hampered by the Coronavirus pandemic. EW also reports that in the final season the procedural drama indeed plans to address police brutality during its final sendoff. Police brutality got brought to form in 2020 after the police-sanctioned murder of George Floyd. Floyd’s murder was only the tipping point in the problem itself.
