The # of death ‘s in the UK from the Coronavirus more than doubled overnight

LONDON — As the U.K and the Europe grapple with their own versions of the coronavirus outbreak, the number of deaths in the country have more than doubled in the past 24 hours. Government health officials confirmed on Saturday that 10 additional people have died since Friday night bringing the total number to roughly 24 and counting.

This comes on the heels of a countrywide travel restriction on UK residents attempting to fly into America. For the foreseeable future, such travel is banned as of Monday at midnight EDT. Of the reported deaths in the UK, at least 8 were 80 and above and all but one had a pre-existing medical condition.
