In 12 U.S states a baby formula recall — here’s what you need to know right now

According to the FDA, a huge recall of baby formula has been announced. On Friday, the U.S federal agency announced the recall of more than 16k cans of powdered baby formula due to suspected high volumes of Vitamin D.

The Lowdown

Affected item has been identified as Perrigo’s Premium Infant Formula with Iron Milk-Based Powder and has been voluntarily recalled by its maker. The states most affected are:  H-E-B Grocer in Texas and CVS in California, Florida, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
