Convicted felon Steve Bannon is finally going to prison but that doesn’t mean his lies about the upcoming election will stop. Last week, SCOTUS declined to hear his appeal thereby setting the stage for his obstruction sentence.
The Lowdown
In an interview with NBC News, the convicted felon claimed that he ‘would only accept’ the election results if they hadn’t been tampered with. It must be noted that Bannon and company claimed the same thing during the last election, however, no evidence of the election having been stolen from Donald Trump was ever found.
During the same interview, Bannon claimed that ‘all bets are off’ in terms of accepting the election results or not. The comments go hand-in-hand with far-right efforts to sow as much misinformation as possible leading into the November election.
