According to Gothamist, a second fundraiser for the scandal plagued campaign has had their home raided by the FBI in connection to allegations of corruption. An article previously published by The City appears to have played a part in what led to the FBI investigation.
Federal authorities are understood to have visited the home of a woman named Winnie Greco, in the Bronx who has been identified as a city employee. Greco is accused of abusing her position for personal gain in an investigation that first began back in November.
Greco is herself accused of attempting to illegally profit off of her position as the director of Asian affairs.
