A former SI cop is facing some pretty serious charges after an investigation found that he allegedly lured and sexually abused boys with the help of social media.Christopher Terranova, 34, is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy he used social media to lure.
But it gets much worse. According to the affidavit against him, Terranova was originally arrested back in May on suspected child porn charges. At the time, he per the complaint had attempted or ‘offered’ to give the teen a ride home only to turn around and forcibly bring him to a wooded area where he was later forced to undress.
“The defendant was entrusted with the safety of our community and used his position of power and trust to gain access to and prey on vulnerable children,” US Attorney Breon Peace said.
