Movie icon Sir Michael Gambon, 82, otherwise widely known to worldwide audiences as Dumbledore from Harry Potter has died.
A statement provided to the press this morning confirmed the news.
We are devastated to announce the loss of Sir Michael Gambon,” according to reps.
“Beloved husband and father, Michael died peacefully in hospital with his wife Anne and son Fergus at his bedside, following a bout of pneumonia.”
