Unity Technology’s sudden announcement that developers would be charged $0.20 every time someone downloads their game has ignited significant backlash. Unity has gone as far as too close some of their offices for the rest of the week amid credible death threats over the fee.

Misinformation surrounding a newe fee for developers who use Unity Technology has people talking. The company following intense backlash over said misinformation and the announcement itself — has clarified some things about the move set to take place on 1 January.
