In the disappearance of Carlee Russell cops now say there was never a child on that highway as case deepens and questions mount

The mystery surrounding the disappearance of Carlee Russell deepens. According to Hoover police, cops have found no evidence to back up the claim that there had been a child on the highway on that unfortunate night.

In a press release, cops confirmed the news themselves.

“The Hoover Police Department has not located any evidence of a toddler walking down the interstate, nor did we receive any additional calls about a toddler walking down the interstate, despite numerous vehicles passing through that area as depicted by the traffic camera surveillance video,” the press release sent out Tuesday night.
