A guilty verdict in the case of a scandalous affair gone wrong

Earlier this year the case of a suburban mum in New York City had captivated the region because of just how random it actually was.

Now a guilty verdict.

David Bonola allegedly said Orsolya Gaal was ‘cheating on me,’ and ‘gave me HIV’ according to court documents heard in the case leading up to the guilty plea this week. According to reports out Wednesday, Bonola who claims he had an affair with Gaal leading up to her grisly murder gave prosecutors the run around during the trial.

“This heinous killing devastated an entire family, left two boys without a mother, and horrified the surrounding community,” said District Attorney Melinda Katz according to the New York Daily News. “The defendant has accepted responsibility and is being held fully accountable for his criminal actions.”
