iOS maker Apple has announced this week that along with its new devices its Applecare program is getting a facelift. According to the company, the company’s Apple care Plus program now instead of two incidents of repair a year users will now be entitled to an unlimited number of repairs. The new part of the deal only applies to the repairs with other fees like the ($29 screen repair fee) all remaining in place.
New updates to the program will also apply across Apple’s lineup and include the new Airpods; Macs, iPads, and so on.
Also, Apple’s fine print clearly notes that the damage has to be caused by “unexpected and unintentional events” to fall under AppleCare Plus.
