Queen Elizabeth is understood to have dealt Prince Andrew his final blow as a member of the royal family. According to the New York Post, the Queen reportedly at the behest of members like Prince William took it upon herself to have the discussions about removing Andrew ‘s titles and such with him directly. The removals of course come amid growing pressure against the royal family to release Andrew from the constraints of the palace to undergo trial himself.
The palace confirmed the terse palace statement released Thursday reads: “With The Queen’s approval and agreement, The Duke of York’s military affiliations and Royal patronages have been returned to The Queen.
William is understood to be concerned that Andrew ‘s behaviour and criminal cases are a major threat to the future of the monarchy.
