Health authorities and the World Health Organisation have now made an unprecedented move amid a cloud of misinformation and fear-mongering that could either lead to catastrophe or nothing. On Thursday, WHO officials confirmed that the Chinese originated Coronavirus has now become and is a global health emergency.
Countries can now lawfully suspend flights; close their borders, and take various other measures to protect their citizens at best cost. The declaration from WHO was sent to al major members of the United Nations.
