Steve Bannon has brought his scary brand of politics to Europe

LILLE —  Former White House Strategist and ex-Breitbart chairman Steve Bannon, has apparently become the very same kind of person he loathes: a globalist. Over the weekend, Bannon, continued to kick off his European tour, even, advising the struggling National Front Party (the one that lost in a crushing defeat to President Macron).

In usual Bannon style, he sat on stage at the event in Lille for more than an hour basking in applause and the attention before holding a press conference. In that press conference, he appeared with none other than Marine Le Pen (daughter of the disgraced Mr. Le Pen known these days for racist remarks).

Bannon made a few notable remarks during the speech, but,  this particular line before Le Pen arrived is catching heat from critics across the globe. “Let them call you racist,” he says. “Let them call you xenophobes. Let them call you nativists. Wear it as a badge of honor.”
