Chicago went a whole week without a homicide

And now the web is freaking out..  According to statistical data, the city of Chicago has reportedly gone since 28 February without a single deadly homicide.

Yes, a whole week. Data shows that the last two homicides in Chicago occurred during the final weeks of February.  The city hasn’t gone this long without a homicide since Dec 3-9 2012.

Officials are apparently holding out hope that the city’s deadly homicide rate may finally drop after many years of heinous crimes and body’s dropping.
