At some point, most outlets, have covered this gentlemen at some point or another. Now, a five month investigation led by The Guardian has brought even more harrowing details in the ordeal of William Vahey to life. In their investigation, The Guardian, discovered that the international child rapist (before his death in 2014) had used his position teaching at international schools to sexually assault young boys.
The problem? Documents picked up by The Guardian revealed that Vahey, perhaps, could have been stopped. During the time that Vahey committed suicide, he, was the subject of many tears at some of his schools in London — a feat — that probably would seem shocking. The investigation further reportedly turned up that at numerous times in his life, Vahey, had been the subject of FBI investigations — even — leading up to his death in a Minnesota Quality Inn in 2014.
