Over the summer the body of a then unidentified woman was discovered by a sanitation worker along the Jackie Robinson Parkway in Queens. Now according to police the woman has been identified.

According to reports, the woman found dead along the JRP over the summer has been identified. Police say that the woman has been identified as Christina G Purdie, 27. Her remains were initially found in a grassy area on 6 August earlier this year near the parkway.
Her death on 4 November was formally declared a homicide. An investigation remains ongoing regarding her death with minimal details available at this time.
