25-year-old man arrested after savagely beating man to death at Brooklyn metro stop: Cops

An arrest in yet another case of violence underground in the boroughs. According to police, a 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a violent attack that occurred Tuesday afternoon just after 3pm at the Jay Street Metro station in downtown Brooklyn.

The Lowdown

NYPD officials have made an arrest in connection to a shocking crime that occurred on Tuesday afternoon. According to police, David Mazariegos, 25, has been arrested in connection to the incident which involved a man he is alleged to have beaten to death.

The man who has not been identified was reportedly holding open the emergency exit gate at the time of the attack. Mazariegos admitted to police that he attacked the man because he didn’t like the way he looked at him.
