BBC asks police to formally investigate newest allegations to emerge from Strictly, reports say

BBC officials have formally asked the Met Police to investigate new allegations against the popular dance show. According to reports,  this time the allegations appear to coincide with claims that two stars openly did cocaine.

The Lowdown

According to reports, Strictly Come Dancing is once again under investigation.    The Sun  reports that officials this time are looking into claims that at least two stars of the show openly and previously used cocaine. For their part, BBC is remaining mum on further details on the matter.

It comes after a previous report this month by The Sun that saw the revelations first come to light. That report claimed that the aforementioned drug use was often discussed on the show.   The law firm Pinsent Masons is leading the investigation.
