Following DC visit, Oath Keepers leader barred from doing so again without permission

Oath Keepers leader Stewart Rhodes who is fresh out of prison on a pardon — has been barred from entering the DC area without permission by a judge.

The Lowdown

According to a ruling by Judge Amit Mehta has barred Oath Keepers leader Stewart Rhodes and at least 7 others from re-entering the Capitol without permission. The ruling comes after Donald Trump pardoned most of the those who were serving criminal sentences for the attack on the U.S Capitol on 6 January 2021.

Per the ruling, the ruling changes the conditions of supervised release.
