The New York Times reports that several Israeli military commanders made the comments as Hezbollah and Israel continue to trade strikes. Hezbollah failed to strike Mossad’s headquarters s after Israel intercepted the latest rocket.
Comments which were reportedly made by Israel Defense Forces Northern Commander Maj. Gen. Uri Gordon to Brigade 7. It isn’t immediately clear when such a group invasion would begin and would dramatically escalate the existing Israeli-Hamas war.
