2. Amanda Knox is back on trial
Amanda Knox is about to stand trial once more. According to reports, Knox ‘s trial over the remaining slander charge from her original trial in Italy is set to get underway this month. The charge stems from an allegation that she defamed a Congolese bar owner following the tragic and heartbreaking murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher which Rudy Guede later served time. The slander charge is the only charge to stand still and it has survived five attempts to quash it.
