Earlier today we were shown what appeared to be the first images of the Princess of Wales since her hospitalization and later recovery. However, we have since learned that the photograph has been manipulated and is not real. Photo agencies dispersing the photograph which was also posted online by the royals’ official account has been slapped with a kill notice.
As a result of this, we have removed the photograph and the social media post from our magazine. As many have pointed out, it appears the photograph has been intentionally altered by the Palace with numerous discrepancies present.
It remains unclear as to why a Photoshopped photograph so poorly done was released in the first place.
The Princess has admitted to falsely editing the photograph. Kensington Palace on Monday rejected demands for the original to be released.
