Police in Magaluf have charged a British man, 43, after a woman claimed in May that she was raped by him while spending the night in his son’s hotel room.
A traveling father in Magaluf has been arrested after a young woman claimed that he sexually assaulted her while she was asleep on his son’s couch drunk. Reports suggest that the man’s lawyers did not strike a plea deal and therefore the case is set to go to trial in February. The woman, 20, claims that she was forced to have sex with the man after spending the night in his son’s hotel room on vacation because she had checked out of hers due to having to catch a flight in the early hours of the next morning.
The May incident attracted allot of attention after the unidentified man was arrested at the airport in an effort to return to the U.K and avoid prosecution.
He remains in prison as of his arrest in May.
