Creed star Jonathan Majors is in hot water this week against the backdrop of claims by the NYPD that he assaulted a young woman over the weekend. Believed to have been his own girlfriend details around the reported assault are still murky at this time. TMZ initially reported that the disturbing assault may have occurred over the fact that Majors refused to show his girlfriend his phone resulting in escalating tensions from then on.
In a statement, Majors’ rep has denied the allegations saying: ‘He’s done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.’
The assault occurred shortly after 11 am on Saturday when police were called to the 22nd and 8th area of the Chelsea section of Manhattan.
