Mitch McConnell is in the hospital. According to reports published Thursday evening, the Senate minority leader is in the hospital following an accidental fall at a hotel in D.C.
“This evening, Leader McConnell tripped at a local hotel during a private dinner. He has been admitted to the hospital where he is receiving treatment,” a spokesperson for the Kentucky Republican said in a statement according to CNN.
No additional details were provided.
