The James Webb Telescope has found one of the most unusual galaxies in the Universe (but it’s also magnificent)

Astronomy & Space is back in our daily newsletter and this week we have some fascinating photographs to share straight from NASA. According to the US Space Agency, its hefty telescope somewhere up there in the Universe has yet again made some extraordinary discoveries.

“The Cartwheel is composed of two rings, a bright inner ring and a colorful outer ring,” the Space Telescope Science Institute, which handles science and mission operation for the telescope, said in a news release. “Both rings expand outward from the center of the collision like shockwaves.”
