In the surest sign yet that the court will find the leaker — SCOTUS officials are now demanding phone records from nearly all clerks inside the court. The Post reports that the investigation is still ongoing and is attempting to figure out who leaked the court’s draft Roe v Wade / abortion docket to Politico.

CNN notes that the docket probably was circulated by one of 75 people who would’ve had access to it throughout said drafting of the opinion. Some clerks are also reportedly exploring their own counsel as many were shocked at how far the court is going to find answers. Critics have pounced on the court for failing to act on other issues but suddenly cares enough about a leak regarding a law that has existed for 50 years.
