Mini as in about 4,000 sq feet of glorious Ikea products but the store won’t be that large compared to other stores belonging to the chain in the world. This will also be its first along the lines of High Street as the brand seeks to expand its vast portfolio.
According to the chain, The Hammersmith store, which will open at 10am on February 24 then 9am daily is how the store will operate. Apart from the typical Ikea wares, the store will also feature a variety of food available for takeaway and other options. The Swedish delicatessen will feature things like Smorrebrod open sandwiches, Nordic Chicken Caesar and Swedish Mazarin, a popular type of tart that most people tend to love.
Ikea will also be serving up its famous meatballs but also with a veg option for those who have plant based diets.
