FTC orders Wal-Mart; Kroger, and Amazon to figure out why their prices are so high and items are limited

Because one doesn’t coincide with the other entirely. According to the FTC, a multitude of U.S companies have been given 45 days to turn over information as to why their shelves are so empty and prices are so high. This list also includes the following: Procter & Gamble Co., Tyson Foods, Kraft Heinz Co., and McLane Co.

The FTC investigation will focus on: “whether supply chain disruptions are leading to specific bottlenecks, shortages, anticompetitive practices, or contributing to rising consumer prices.”
