The Mexican getaway most people dream about reportedly turned into a nightmare for Georgia teacher Alexandra Morales. According to Mexican authorities, her boyfriend not only remains the prime suspect in the disappearance and now reported murder of Morales but has been taken into custody.
Univision reports that her boyfriend has been identified as Fidel Barragan, 28. Barragan has only been charged in connection to her disappearance but not her reported murder. Her remains were found not far from the venue she attended for a concert in Guadalajara according to what we could translate from Spanish media.
Morales was a teacher in Gwinett County GA and was widely beloved by her school and students according to multiple US media reports.
