Thursday is here which means today is the day that terrorist Ahmad Alissa appears in court on 10 counts of first degree murder charges. According to the Post, Alissa ‘s defense attorneys have already begun the spin-machine asking a judge for a 3 month delay to argue his mental state.

“We cannot begin to assess the nature and depth of Mr. Alissa’s mental illness until we have the discovery from the government,” Kathryn Herold, one of his attorneys, said to Mulvahill. Alissa’s attorney offered no additional details.

The Washington Post reports that the judge presiding over the first day hearing granted the request although such has sparked ire online. Alissa will reportedly be held without bail and even more charges are coming.
