This asteroid is believed to be worth $10,000 quadrillion

Space junkies rejoice. NASA is back in the news this week (after a series of revelations in 2020 that have lots of people questioning space in itself.) This time, however, the space agency confirmed the already known existence of an asteroid called Psyche.

Psyche is making headlines in itself because the 140 lb potato looking asteroid is believed to be worth upwards of $10,000 quadrillion. That’s roughly 19 zeros for anyone who like us was scratching their head trying to figure out how to say such a number.

According to experts, it is widely believed that the asteroid is what was left of a protoplanet from likely millions of years ago. The interesting part about the asteroid is that it likely (when they finally reach it that is) tell us some of the origins of earth and how earth came to be.
