This week —- Ice Cube —- perhaps best known for being one of the legendary members of rap collective NWA found himself in the wrong end of the spotlight. According to reports —- and it gets rather confusing —- Ice Cube appears to but denies having had worked with Donald Trump secretly for several months.
What exactly that work is remains to be clear as Ice Cube has changed his own story a number of times now — after being widely mocked and called out on Twitter. Several Twitter users pointed out how he suddenly went from NWA to the MAGA train — a reference to Trump ‘s Make America Great Again Slogan.
So here’s exactly what happened. The Trump Administration openly claimed recently that they were working with Ice Cube ‘s long never-heard-of-before (CWBA). CWBA for those that don’t know apparently stands for Contract With Black America — a foundation type effort founded by Ice Cube last August.
Although according to Ice Cube that isn’t exactly the case as he says, per CNN, that he isn’t working directly with the Trump Administration despite having indirectly admitted to working with the Trump Administration but claims it wasn’t a full cooperation.
