In Florida — almost anything is possible usually without question as long as a Republican does it before anyone else. In Orange County, Florida Mayor Jerry Demings announced on Monday that wrestling (“is indeed an essential business”) and therefore WWE can resume filming in the area.
According to reports, Demings appears to have conned the Governors’ office into deeming WWE and the like essential businesses as ‘focal parts of Florida’s economy.” While that may be partially true, there is no possible way that this is going to end well for anybody involved. Hours after it first emerged online, Governor De Santis’s office confirmed the news that the decision had been made.
With some conversation with the Governor’s office regarding the Governor’s order, they were deemed an essential business. And so, therefore, they were allowed to remain open.”
