Two of Europe ‘s biggest festivals are no more. On Wednesday, Glastonbury and Eurovision both independently confirmed that they’ve shuttered their events for the 2020 season (and instead will take place in 2021.) The cancellations come amid increasing Coronavirus cases in the region — just two weeks after Europe was declared the epicenter of its own version of the virus.
We are so sorry to announce this, but we are going to have to cancel Glastonbury 2020. Tickets for this year will roll over to next year. Full statement below and on our website. Michael & Emily pic.twitter.com/ox8kcQ0HoB
