Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders underwent a medical procedure on Tuesday evening citing issues with a blocked artery. According to Sanders campaign, Â the 78-year-old presidential hopeful reportedly had “a blocked artery” that required two stents to be inserted for assistance.
Campaign officials confirmed that Sanders is now doing well and “in high spirits”. Â Until further notice though, Â campaign events have been cancelled as of this time.
