French billionaires pledge help to rebuild cathedral: Reports

1. With the assistance of French President Emmanuel Macron — French celebs and billionaires are pledging their help to rebuild the famed  850-year-old cathedral landmark that burned down. 

Of those:  Francois-Henri Pinault (whose company owns Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent for example).   Pinault, per French media, has apparently pledged more than $130M.    Pinault’s rival who owns company’s like LVMH have pledged the remainder to a sum total of $330M.

Over the weekend, the famed and quite historic Notre Dame burned up in flames leaving at least half of the landmark in rubble.
