MIAMI — Local meteorologists and nearby weather officials have announced that there was a 7.6 magnitude earthquake in the Caribbean that shook the region. According to officials, warnings have been issued for all of the nearby Caribbean islands including Puerto Rico.
The earthquake reportedly had 6.2 miles in depth.
Weather damaged Puerto Rico is already still reeling from the previous storm, and now, officials aren’t quite sure what trouble this could cause for the ravaged island.
Officials say that the issue occurred around 9:51 pm and hit the Caribbean; Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands first. It is unknown whether or not the earthquake has caused any serious damage.
