Leonardo Da Vinci is pretty much the creme of the crop when it comes to anything to do with art, and, pretty much anything to do with art history. His paintings are legendary;  often unseen, and, apparently worth allot of money.  According to Christie’s Auction House,  a painting of Jesus by Da Vinci has broken sale records  by nearly four times the usual price tag.

Per terms of usual sales from such an auction house, the buyer, wasn’t immediately identified.  The painting was titled Salvator Mundi (which actually means “Saviour of the World”).

The painting is pictured to the left.
